Smashing holiday in Dassia. Great place, loads of people having a good time. Excellent value for money. The food was very affordable, we ate out every night for around Β£10 a night. The watersports are highly recommended although most of the time was spent lazing around on the beautiful pebble beaches.

Stayed here for our Honeymoon (along with our 19 month old boy!!) 15th september for 1 week. We payed for a sea view room and the room was lovely (Room 1314) The the choice of food was excellant. The friendly cleaning ladies were amazing making a fuss of our little boy every day, everyday we had clean bedding and towels.
There was a bottle of wine from the manager waiting in our room on arrival then another appeared 3 days later! We thought this was a nice touch. The pool was wonderful very clean, the beach a little stoney, but nice to sit on the grass garden area. We hired a car from across the road a Fairdeal very good. We had the best Pizza for lunch also across the road at Zorbas! A good Choice for us all.

We chose Dassia for our holiday with friends - because of all the water sports they do there. We tried pretty much everything - was excellent fun. I think it's a great base for exploring the island, and we did hire a car to see the area. Plus it's just down the road from Ipsos, where we had a couple of memorable nights out!"

Dassia is on the east coast, 9 miles from the airport and is backed by wooded hills with long narrow stretches of gently sloping shingle and pebble beaches. Most of the accommodation consists of large hotels but there are plenty of rooms and studios that lie in the small roads that lead to Dassia beach. Suitable for all ages, the many bars and odd disco combined with the beach shops and mini markets ensure that there is plenty to do after a long day on the beach. There is an abundance of accommodation in Dassia itself with a wide selection of hotels ranging from small and basic to luxury. There are also numerous apartment and studios all within easy walking distance of the resort and a very good camp site that also has excellent chalets. On the whole most self catering apartments are clean and well kept, if sometimes a little basic, but that's the charm of Corfu. As long as you don't expect the Ritz, you won't go far wrong in Dassia. We would suggest reading the reviews widely available on the various holiday sites to avoid the odd one or two that do not provide the level of quality expected.
